Charlotte's Bucket List

$0 donated
Started 11 years ago

Charlotte is 32, a mum of two young kids and has been diagnosed a terminal breast cancer. She has a bucket list for her kids to do together.

Auckland

Charlotte is 32 with two kids Grace (8) and Zack is (2). After her first round of chemo she made a bucket list for the little bit of time she has left.

Just before charismas last year she went to the dr. with a lump on her left breast. Few weeks later found out it was terminal breast cancer with a few months left. It almost killed her knowing that she wont see her kids grow up. So now she is making the most of the time she has left with her family. But need your help to do so.

Some are very big and some small. She just wants to make the best memories for her kids.

Things include taking her family to ..

1. Dreamworld,

2. Skiing

3.Throw a mega farewell party

4.Go on a road trip

5. Stay up and watch the stars

6. Take 1000 photos

For herself to do.

1. Perform a kind deed without expecting anything in return

2. Get a drink for a stranger

3. Fly in a hot-air balloon

4.Dance barefoot in the rain

5.Knit a scarf for each child

6.Do something completely crazy and out of character

What would you do with a few months left with your young kids.

PLEASE HELP

About us

Over six months ago I kept seeing all over Facebook that families were struggling with the basic essentials for there family and asking Facebook to help with food and clothing and household like beds, draws, mattresses, ect.

I decided to help from what I can and started collecting from others what I could to give to the families in need. Started a page on Facebook Help ME Timaru what got me front page in the local paper. What I got lots of stuff donated to me/organisation and still more every week.

Now I help out battered woman and families, low income families, young families, and families that have nothing due to emergencies.

I do over 35 food hamper per week and growing. I do pick ups and drop off with stuff and big household essentials to the families in need. All with one low income household kids and my own family to feed. I spend close to $200 per week every week on food, gas, trailers , storage sheds, to help those less fortunate than myself.

So any little money I do find goes straight back to this.

The need is getting so big I need your help. The more money I raise the more families I can help

SO PLEASE HELP :)

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
