Once again Cheryl Neill is walking 280km on a pilgrimage through Portugal to raise money for the Dunedin Night Shelter.

Dunedin, Otago

Portobello primary schoolteacher Cheryl Neill is once again embarking on a pilgrimage, walking 280km in Portugal and raising money for the Dunedin Night Shelter! Cheryl wants to raise money along the way for the Dunedin Night Shelter because she wants to support vulnerable people who don't have a place to live. About us

The Dunedin Night Shelter Trust runs Dunedin's only night shelter. Started in 2007 as a men's shelter, demand from the community has seen it evolve into a facility supporting anyone in need of short-term emergency housing with a hot meal and a warm bed

Use of funds

Food and running costs of the Dunedin Night Shelter - each night costs approximately $500 to give our community's homeless a warm, clean, safe bed.
