We are fundraising to finish our school building.
Nelson / Tasman
In 2014 we raised the funds to build the first two storeys of our school. Now we need to finish it! We would like to add two more rooms - a library and a computer room.
The In Time Trust supports the Kailash Bodhi School in Jumla, North Western Nepal. We have 650 students many from impoverished and illiterate families. It is education that will change their lives opening up opportunities for a better future.
The Kailash Bodhi School was established in 2005 to preserve the language and culture of the Tibetan (Mugumpa) people an indigenous population who have lived for centuries at the foot of the Himalayas in Nepal. In 2005 KBS Jumla opened its doors to twenty-five children. Today there are more than six hundred and fifty children attending the school. The In Time Trust provides classrooms, teachers, text books, stationery and school uniforms so these children can receive the education they need to break the cycle of poverty that exists there.
