The In Time Trust is fundraising to provide 35 computers and solar power to the children of KBS Jumla in remote Nepal.

There are currently more than 650 children at KBS Jumla and they are in desperate need of computers so that they may further their education. Jumla is in a remote part of Nepal and this isolation means that the children are unable to access certain educational and training opportunities. With the use of computers the children will be able to enhance their educational capabilities and access training opportunities that would have otherwise been unavailable to them. In order to help break the cycle of poverty in Nepal it is imperative that the children receive not just an education, but a quality education, and this is what the purchase of computers will help us to achieve. The In Time Trust strongly believes that a child should not be held back in their educational attainment because of where they are born.
The Kailash Bodhi School was established in 2005 to preserve the language and culture of the Tibetan (Mugumpa) people an indigenous population who have lived for centuries at the foot of the Himalayas in Nepal. In 2005 KBS Jumla opened its doors to twenty-five children. Today there are more than six hundred and fifty children attending the school. The In Time Trust provides classrooms, teachers, text books, stationery and school uniforms so these children can receive the education they need to break the cycle of poverty that exists there.
The funds raised will go directly to purchasing 35 computers and solar power so that the computers can be powered.
