Gaza Crisis

Dear Givealittle members, 100% of funds donated to NZ Red Cross for Gaza will be directed to the ICRCfs (International Committee of the Red Cross) emergency appeal for the eIsrael & Palestine Occupied Territoriesf. The following are specific examples of activities covered by this appeal: Provision of surgical teams and provision and transportation of urgently needed humanitarian supplies such as life saving surgical equipment, blankets, medicines and other medical supplies to hospitals, shelters and other facilities Facilitate ambulance movements for the wounded and sick to health facilities. Provision of new and renovation of existing ambulances, together with stretchers, drugs and disposables, vehicle and equipment spare parts and communication equipment. Provision of food parcels and hygiene kits to households Provision of water to communities where supply is disrupted by military operations or breakdowns Building or rehabilitation of water treatment facilities Provision of emergency shelter and essential household equipment Act as a neutral intermediary, to help clarify the fate of all missing persons and keep the families informed. Urge all parties, both Israeli and Palestinian, to respect the safety of civilians and civilian infrastructure and that of the medical mission
