New Zealand Red Cross is many things to many people – a hot meal, a safe drive to the hospital, a good start for former refugees, life-saving skills, a helpful hand after a disaster or knowledge that our aid workers are helping overseas in true Kiwi style.

If you, or people you know, can’t afford to give a financial donation, that’s no worries. At New Zealand Red Cross, we welcome generosity in other ways. You can join our 12,000 volunteers who help in New Zealand communities every day, giving time to help people in need. Or you can give your quality second-hand goods to one of our Red Cross Shops so that we can continue to help on your behalf.

Our programmes include delivering Meals on Wheels to people at home, providing emergency response and welfare support in times of emergency and disaster, helping to settle former refugees, and much more.
