Help Dynamo and Candy. Both need urgent treatment!

Often ex-racehorses have to undergo rehabilitation before being retrained for a new life.

Nationwide

SCCRRT Charitable Trust recently opened a new rehoming facility in Swannanoa, Canterbury. Last week first horses arrived at the facility to begin rehabilitation and training. Unfortunately, two horses, Dynamo and Candy, need urgent treatment. Dynamo suffers from ulcers, and Candy has very bad teeth.

Please, help us to pay for Dynamo's and Candy's veterinary and dental bills. https://www.stabletostirrup.org/dynamo

About us

Standardbred Stable to Stirrup Charitable Trust rehomes retired standardbred racehorses and educates the public on ex-racehorse welfare.

Use of funds

Our goal is to raise $450. $170 will go for Dynamo's ulcer treatment and $250 for Candy's dentistry. All funds will go to cover primary horse care.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
