We are targeting to re-home up to 120 horses p. a, but lacking essential equipment such as covers, and lead ropes.
Nationwide
Times are tough for many in the harness racing industry; therefore, Stable to Stirrup is expecting a large influx of horses over the next couple of months. We estimate that up to 20 horses may be at our premises at one time, but we are short of rugs to keep them warm.
We are raising funds to buy lightweight and heavyweight rugs, size 4,9 to 5,0, to be ready for winter. Please help us to get prepared for winter. Every donation counts and makes a difference.
Help us to give Standardbreds a life after racing!
Standardbred Stable to Stirrup Charitable Trust rehomes retired standardbred racehorses and educates the public on ex-racehorse welfare.
All money raised will be used to buy covers and lead ropes. If any surplus, it will go for the primary care of horses to cover dentists, farrier, and veterinary bills.
