Help with cataract surgery for the most in need in remote Tanzania!

$15,333 of $20,000 goal
Given by 70 generous donors in around 3 months

To provide life changing eyesight to those most in need through cataract surgery.

Hastings, Hawke's Bay

The gift of sight is one of the most taken for granted senses we have. Imagine nit being able to see for even a few minutes, hours. Imagine then if this was the rest of you life. Cataracts are easily reversible yet many in remote Tanzania live with them simply because they do not have the opportunity to have them operated on.

Eye Care For Africa has built a small clinic in Shinyanga and is set to see our first full scale clinic performed in October 2025. For just $NZD100 (or GBP50) you can make a life-changing difference to someone's life.

Please give generously! Asante sana!

Hi everyone, I’ll be replying individually to all the donors. We have been inundated with cataract patients with sight so poor they need to be helped to the examination chair. If anyone would like to donate, every donation is gratefully accepted. Thank you so much everyone!
