Help wounded Ukrainians to live their lives
Your donation will cover the shipping costs to transport containers with humanitarian aid, donated by generous Kiwis, from NZ to Ukraine.

Over 4 years Ukrainians have been fighting for their survival. Residential buildings, schools, and hospitals continue to be shelled. Thousands of Ukrainians have been injured, and they require assistance to lead their lives. There is a severe shortage of medical equipment.
Since this 'container' project started 4 years ago, thanks to your support from every corner of NZ, 10 containers of aid have been successfully delivered to Ukraine. The 11th container is being prepared to leave Christchurch. This is a truly amazing NZ wide community project run by volunteers who care about people in Ukraine.
The Ukrainians are so grateful to receive medical equipment from Kiwis - wheelchairs, hospital beds, walking frames, crutches, catheters, dressings, wound drains, adult diapers and other essentials. Beside this, NZ made merino thermals were supplied to the front-line defenders. Your generous donations of clothing, children's toys also warm hearts and bodies of displaced Ukrainians.
Ukrainian Association of New Zealand is reaching out for your help. Your donation will cover the shipping and logistics costs to transport the containers from NZ to Ukraine.
On the ground in Ukraine, a dedicated and trusted group of volunteers will ensure these medical supplies reach the people who urgently require them. Your support can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by war.

UANZ is a community based, non-profit organisation founded in 2007. We have a network of volunteers and supporters to organise, pack, store and move the donated goods, help with compliance and paperwork for the shipment of containers.
Use of funds
The donations will be spent on cost of delivery the container(s) from New Zealand to Ukraine and purchasing thermal underwear from a local NZ manufacturer. The project promises to be ongoing. It means there may be more containers than one.

Container 10 is on its way to Ukraine. Ka pai, New Zealand! 30 April 2026
Hello Container Movement team,
We are incredibly grateful to everyone involved in sending our 10th anniversary container to Ukraine. On 28th of March, under a beautiful sunny sky in Feilding, the local team worked tirelessly to load the container with wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, hoists, and other vital medical equipment. Alongside these were generators, sleeping bags, warm clothing, and soft toys — and of course the anaesthetic machine and even an emergency shelter. An amazing effort!
We are tracking the container daily, and it is expected to arrive in Gdańsk, Poland at the end of June. Our team in Ukraine is eagerly awaiting its arrival so these supplies can be distributed to hospitals, stabilisation units, and foster and rest homes.
Well done to everyone involved — a truly remarkable milestone.
