Outpawed Horowhenua TNR Project

$318 of $3,000 goal
Given by 10 generous donors in 6 weeks

Outpawed has taken on TNR projects for two colonies in Levin and Foxton. Our goal is to trap, neuter and return approximately 30 adult cats.

Wellington

Outpawed has been called on to assist with two groups of cats in the Horowhenua area. There are an estimated 30 cats living in the two groups, with approximately a dozen pregnant females. The pregnant cats will be brought to a shelter to raise their young, while other adult cats will be desexed and returned to their colonies. The goal is to prevent any further breeding in these feral populations.

About us

Outpawed is a charitable trust. We are involved in the care and management of stray, abandoned and community cats in the Wellington and Manawatu region. Our goal is to improve the lives of domestic felines.

Use of funds

Funds raised will be used to purchase an extra trap for the project, pay veterinary costs for desexing, and go towards the cost of vaccinating, microchipping and feeding the kittens before they are rehomed.
