It's bloody time to talk about periods.
Help us eradicate period poverty and period stigma in Aotearoa, and provide all students with better period education, BEFORE periods start.Auckland
The Period Place has three core pillars; fight period stigma, provide period education, and eradicate period poverty.
We want cultural change. We want systemic change. We want community change. We want individual change. And we need your help to do it.
Your donation will enable us to put on more free public events that fight period stigma and provide education in public spaces, and have more period markets that sell products from largely online retailers so you can come see them for yourself.
Your donation will support us as we go to Wellington next month for an event to meet ministers from Labour, Greens and National to present a petition for free period products in all schooling institutions and better, earlier, period education in all schools - sign it here: bit.ly/PositivePeriodsPetition.
Your donation will create more group impact and change individual lives in Aotearoa for people who can't access period products.
Thanks to you, The Period Place will bridge the gaps in everything from the menstrual academic research to period product makers, the government, innovators, social enterprises and the people who use period products.
Let's do this. Let's make change happen, together.
Use of funds
Funds will go to the running of The Period Place business (wages not included) - payment for digital services (website and email), covering costs for the free public events we organise, costs associated with amplifying messaging around the country, etc.
