Hey there, I'm a mum of 3 gorgeous children, 10, 8 & 4.
After Mr 4 was born we were introduced to the medical world. Dominic spent over half his first year in and out of hospital. When Dom was 2 years old we moved to Hamilton, and we were told about True Colours Children's Health Trust, which started a new journey of encouragement and support.
True Colours have been there for appointments, given me a shoulder to cry on and supported me in a huge way.
This fundraiser is a way to show my appreciation for an amazing organisation and say thank you as we move on to our next phase. Please help me give back to True Colours so they can continue supporting Mums like myself through sponsoring my 5 bridges swim.
The 5 Bridge Swim is an annual event held where entrants must swim 7.1 kms under 5 central Hamilton bridges. The swim takes place on Sunday April 8th 2018.
About us
True Colours Children’s Health Trust supports Waikato families who have a child with a serious health condition. Our free support service has a holistic approach to care understanding the far-reaching impacts that serious illness has on the whole family.
Use of funds
The money raised will help to support more Mums like Karena, who have a child with a serious health condition.
