Show your True Colours as we raise funds to support children with a serious health condition and their siblings.
A child's serious or life-threatening illness affects the whole family. That why children and whānau are at the heart of everything we do. In the 21 years we have been in the Waikato, we have supported over 3200 families, and it's thanks to the generosity of our community and people like you that sustains this free service and helps children and families when they are coping with great uncertainty and stress.
Our support is flexible to suit each child and families needs and may include counselling, procedure preparation, advocacy, grief counselling, nursing care and advice, symptom management.
About us
True Colours Children’s Health Trust supports Waikato families who have a child with a serious health condition. Our free support service has a holistic approach to care understanding the far-reaching impacts that serious illness has on the whole family.
Use of funds
All money raised goes towards funding specialised nursing care and advice, and counselling support including play, art and music therapy. These funds help ensure our service remains FREE to children and whānau when they need us most.
