Show your True Colours as we raise funds to support children with a serious health condition and their siblings.

A child's serious or life-threatening illness affects the whole family. That's why children and whānau are at the heart of everything we do. In the 22 years we have been in the Waikato, we have supported over 3800 families, and it's thanks to the generosity of our community and people like you that sustains this free service and helps children and families when they are coping with great uncertainty and stress.

Our support is flexible to suit each child and families needs and may include counselling, procedure preparation, advocacy, grief counselling when a child sadly dies, nursing care and advice, and symptom management.

About us

True Colours Children’s Health Trust supports Waikato families who have a child with a serious health condition. Our free support service has a holistic approach to care understanding the far-reaching impacts that serious illness has on the whole family.

Use of funds

All money raised goes towards funding specialised paediatric nursing care and advice, and counselling support including play, art and music therapy. These funds help ensure our service remains FREE to children and their whānau when they need us most.
