Wellington

Kia eke te Maunga means to “Climb the Mountain”. This year we have changed the name of our annual Fun Run to suit its purpose. Every year our whole school walks or runs up Kingsley Heights. The purpose this year for our walk/run is for every student to set and complete a wero (challenge) This in turn, will help to build their resilience and determination. The overall distance is approximately 4.5 kilometers.

About us

At Upper Hutt School, every learner deserves a positive future.

Use of funds

We are looking to raise funds for the Year 5 and 6 Camps to held in 2021. Every year we will use Kia eke te Maunga as a way to raise funds for the bi-annual camp so that every child can experience a camp while they are at Upper Hutt School!
