Kia eke te Maunga-Climb the Mountain.All the school walks/runs up Kingsley Heights.The purpose is for every student to compete a challenge.

Kia eke te Maunga means to “Climb the Mountain”. Every year our whole school walks or runs up Kingsley Heights. The purpose this year for our walk/run is for every student to set and complete a wero (challenge) This in turn, will help to build their resilience and determination. The overall distance is approximately 4.5 kilometers.

About us

At Upper Hutt School, every learner deserves a positive future.

Use of funds

We are looking to raise funds for the Year 5 and 6 Camps to held in 2021. Every year we will use Kia eke te Maunga as a way to raise funds for the bi-annual camp so that every child can experience a camp while they are at Upper Hutt School!
