Help get Kids to KiwiChat Camp

The Merino Muster Cross Country ski race is getting closer and with that in mind Ann has been doing some training. She completed 2 x 2 hour skis over the race course last weekend. Ann is also working in Central Otago and Southland at the moment and has been talking to some of the teams who are interested in attending KiwiChat Camp. The logistics of getting to KiwiChat Camp from the bottom of the South Island is daunting but the interest from the teams supporting these students is fantastic. One such student is Hudson. Hudson lives in Bluff and has been to KiwiChat Camp before. He uses both a High Tech Eye Gaze communication device and a low tech PODD book. Both these systems take time to master and seeing other students using similar systems is a great way to learn. Hudson and his mum Chris are keen to attend KiwiChat again as they see this as an opportunity to meet with other students using similar systems as well as have five days of fun packed activities to help develop Hudsonfs use of the communication tools he is currently mastering.
