Losing the Locks for Our Champions
Sonya is 'losing her locks for our champions' with a fairly dramatic head shave, for the Champion Centre. She'd love your support.

The Champion Centre provides early intervention programmes for Canterbury families and their children with complex developmental delays and disabilities. The Centre has a funding shortfall to manage each year, and we are very grateful to have a growing community of fantastic supporters, such as our very own Sonya.
Sonya is on staff, here at the Champion Centre, she is very passionate about supporting our Centre children and their families, and does so each day in her role as an Early Intervention Educator.
It was that passion and dedication which propelled Sonya to offer to shave her head, in the hopes of raising some much needed funds for our early intervention programmes.
Currently, with a fabulous head of hair, this was no light-hearted decision, and one that Sonya would love to see making a big difference to our children.

About us
We offer specialised programmes to infants and preschool children with complex developmental delays and disabilities. These programmes include Musical Play Therapy, Play Therapy, Technology Assisted Learning, and a 'Transition to School' programme.
Use of funds
The Champion Centre has an annual funding shortfall. Your support will help us to continue to educate and empower Centre families and their young champions.

It's all off, Sonya has lost her locks for our Champions 21 December 2020
With the appropriate amount of dedication and nerves, Sonya sat in the chair on Monday 14 December and watched her gorgeous head of hair reduced to a close shave.
She was overwhelmed with all the support and generosity this fundraiser has achieved so far, to make a difference to our young champions!
