Canterbury

We know things have been pretty tough for all New Zealand’s charities.

With an approximate $7000 to source for each child at The Champion Centre, every year, we have a lot of work to do.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

If we all get together and donate the cost of even-ONE COFFEE EACH, we can make some magic happen for our young CHAMPIONS.

Here are a few good reasons from our Centre families, why your donation makes a huge difference.

🟡 we quickly saw an amazing change

⚫️ The Champion Centre nest!

🟡 true advocates

⚫️ showing us what was possible

🟡 the true meaning of inclusion in education

⚫️ through the encouragement of the team we learned what to do, and then we built on that, one day at a time.

🟡 at the Centre we felt we belonged, it was a protected environment,

⚫️ her confidence grew, her vocabulary exploded.

🟡 we felt such love, acceptance and inclusion

⚫️ an innate understanding of exactly what our daughter needed.

🟡 showed us not to underestimate what she is capable of doing.

⚫️ words aren’t enough to convey how grateful we are.

🟡 more people need to know about this beautiful place

Just the cost of a coffee is all it takes, please help us,TODAY

About us

We offer specialised programmes to infants and preschool children with complex developmental delays and disabilities. These programmes include Musical Play Therapy, Play Therapy, Technology Assisted Learning, and a 'Transition to School' programme.

Use of funds

Government funding leaves a gap to secure each year to deliver our early intervention. We are reaching out to our community to help us cover this shortfall to deliver our programmes, such as Musical Play Therapy and Technology Assisted Learning sessions.
