Anthony wanted to do something to help his friend's grandson who has developmental delays, so he decided he would ride 2316KM on a scooter.
Canterbury
Anthony will be riding 2316KM from Bluff to Cape Reinga as a fundraiser to help the Champion centre. He is planning this 8 day trip to end up in Kerikeri where he will participate in the Kerikeri half marathon on the 19th November, all funds raised will go to The Champion Centre. A big thankyou to John and Alan Crawford Southern Suzuki who have kindly loaned a motor scooter for the event. Without their support this trip would not have got off the ground. Anthony says "It will be a physical challenge but nothing like the daily challenge some parents/family face, its a Ride for Ryder"
We are so grateful to Anthony and all his supporters for wanting to help our children and families who attend the Champion Centre. We are so heartened by the wider community support wanting to help children like Ryder reach their full potential.
"Its a world of laughter a world of tears, its a world of hope and a world of fear, There is so much we share that its time we're aware, its a small world after all."
