For more than 43 years, The Champion Centre has been committed to providing high quality

whānau-based early intervention services, for children/tamariki with multi-faceted developmental delays. We are the largest centre-based provider in the country, with a leading edge, internationally respected model of practice, bringing together the core therapies required to support the individual needs of each child, focusing on key areas such as; gross and fine motor skills, communication, cognitive and social skills. Working collaboratively with families, we empower caregivers with the tools and resources to support their child's development journey within their home, and in their community.

Our programmes include non government funded Musical Play Therapy, Sensory Play and Technology Assisted Learning. With weekly attendance, our service embraces the principles of whānau ora in supporting whānau and tamariki, in ways which work for them, and we ensure all achievements, great and small, against all odds, are worthy of celebration.
