We need help to fund and promote mydecision.org.nz, a site that shares info on health providers who object to contraception or abortion.

My Decision / Kei a au te Whakataunga (www.mydecision.org.nz) is a service based on the tenet that reproductive health care, including access to contraception and abortion, is a human right.

It was launched in August 2014 as a way of providing patients with information about what services doctors, pharmacists, and other practitioners do or do not provide. Patients will know not to consult those who do not provide the services they require, and providers will not have to be the bad guy and refuse service to someone in need.

We are an all-volunteer group, so costs are low. With this fund-raising cause, we're seeking $2,000 help to pay for the following:

1. Web hosting and domain name registration costs for the Web site, approx $120 a year. We'd like to raise enough for roughly two years.

2. Promotion (online): We intend to run some paid online ads to promote My Decision, and are aiming to raise roughly $1,700 for this.

We believe women are people, with the intrinsic human right to decide what happens to their own bodies. We believe the state has no business coercing anyone to become a parent without that person's consent. We believe New Zealand law must be changed to reflect these principles.
