Abortion Providers are heroes. Let show them how much we appreciate them!
Abortion providers in Aotearoa put up with a lot in order to provide abortion care. They must deal with the abortion bureaucracy, keep people moving through the succession of hoops they have to jump to access care, and put up with unfair stigma piled on them by some folks in the community, even in their own profession, all the while continuing to be treat abortion seekers with kindness and compassion.
They are heroes.
Every year during Lent, their job becomes even harder, with more protesters to face, more lies to correct, more upset people to comfort.
We want to show them how much we appreciate the job they do. ALRANZ wants to give treats, flowers and chocolates, to abortion providers all over the country, starting with the big ones, and moving down the line, as many as we can get to.
Will you help?
Funds will be used to buy flowers and chocolates for abortion services in New Zealand, to be delivered by ALRANZ members in the region or city where the service is located.
