'Neonatal November' is a focal point for raising more awareness & funds to support for families going through the stress of a neonatal journey - those with a premature baby or a full-term baby with serious health issues or complications.
All these babies (premature and full-term) needing an extra hand are cared for by the caring, patient and kind staff in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) and Special Care Baby Units (SCBUs).
We don't receive any Government funding and are entirely reliant on the generosity of individuals, companies and organisations in the form of donations, value-in-kind donations, grants, sponsorship and fundraising events to supplement operating costs and fund our services and initiatives.

About us
10% of babies born in NZ arrive prematurely and many more full-term babies have complications that require specialist care. The Little Miracles Trust exists to provide support to these brave parents.
Use of funds
This is a general fundraiser for our work supporting families going through the stress and anxiety of a neonatal journey. In the last year, or so, we have launched & refreshed 7 support resources for parents, funded research to enhance the care of future neonatal babies, contributed to working groups to review and enhance family support, introduced new initiatives like 'Neonatal Secret Santa', and more. 'More' is the key word, as we want to provide more of this practical and meaningful support.
