Our elderly dames, Cici (12) and Annie (13), had their world turned upside down when their beloved mum passed away in April. Left feeling worried and unsure about the world, these two gentle souls had no family members who could take them in. Thankfully, they came into the Paws Restart family, where we are committed to showing them that they will be forever loved and cared for.
Cici and Annie each have only one seeing eye, Annie needs an eye with glaucoma removed, and both require full dental work and full blood tests. These sweet girls deserve to live out their golden years pain-free and surrounded by love.
We try so hard not to ask for help, knowing how tough times are, but our vet account has been overwhelmed with recent emergencies. We've had Rusty with entropion surgery, Frankie needing bowel surgery after swallowing a toy, Cleo and her 10 puppies with their vaccinations and care, then the normal day to day, gastro, kennel cough, desexing, vaccinations etc. The costs are adding up quickly. Any donation, no matter how small, would make a world of difference. Imagine if half our followers gave just $2 each! Paws Restart Animal Rescue believes in standing up for those dogs and puppies that have no voice. Run by volunteers, we see the abandonded, the abused, the neglected, the chained and the unwanted. We promise to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome with love, kindness, compassion, care, honesty and respect.

We have the best news to share about Cici and Annie! 23 July 2024
Thanks to the incredible support you have given to our golden dames Cici and Annie, they have both undergone surgery, dental work and bloodwork and are doing well. They will now be able to live their golden years pain-free. We are ecstatic that their foster family, Macarena and Elliot, who have shown them immense love, patience and kindness, have decided to stay with them so that they can live the rest of their precious lives surrounded by never-ending love. Thanks, everyone, for your support, and let's wish Macarena, Eliot, Charlie, Annie and Cici all the happiness!
