Police charity that focuses on PTSD and suicide in the police of New Zealand

We help New Zealand police officers and their families when someone gets hurt on the job—especially with mental injuries like PTSD.

Our work focuses on trauma, stress, and the long-term impacts of police service. We also help officers who have physical injuries.

We use laws like the Health and Safety at Work Act, Privacy Act, Accident Compensation Act, and the Employment Relations Act to protect their rights. This means we can guide injured police through the system—making sure they get the help and respect they deserve.

We are fully independent. We don’t get any money from the government. That means we can speak up, tell the truth, and stand by police families when others won’t.

We’re also a DPO—Disabled People’s Organisation—and follow the UN rules (called the UNCRPD) to make sure no one is left out, ignored, or treated unfairly.

Our goal is clear: no more police suicides. Ever.

The money will go towards navigating help to get ACC assistance, including paying for specialised ACC lawyers. Our ACC system is difficult to deal with, when you are sick with PTSD its even harder. We are support and guide the blue whanau.
