Rebuild Nepal
We've been involved in Nepal since 2007 and are shocked and saddened for this region. We can all help be part of the rebuild this year.
International
Nepal and India suffered badly after a devastating earthquake on April 25th 2015 and ongoing quakes.
Communication can be a problem in and out of Kathmandu. We have connections in Kathmandu and we are well placed to bring very real solutions to needs on the ground over the months and years ahead. This will need an enormous effort required by many groups.
Our partners in Northern India are receiving Nepali people as they flee the area for safety and supplies. We are also communicating with village leaders how best we can assist in the months and years that lay ahead. Thank you for standing with the people of this region.

Time to build :) 12 July 2015
Our Indian/Nepali team have been visiting remote areas in Nepal to assess and talk to community leaders about the most pressing needs.
For around $3000NZ we can build a simple Nepali house. It will provide shelter and allow families to move out from under canvas.
Because many of the roads are not useable it will mean much of the work will be done by hand as trucks can not be used on many of the roads.
The first lot of funds for the first lot of houses has been sent. See the photo of a home that can be built from local supplies.
