ReliefAid is distributing life-saving aid to families in Lebanon.
Grey Lynn, Auckland
Catastrophically, the conflict in Gaza has now spread to Lebanon, where families are now living under fire. The humanitarian crisis is worsening by the day as large-scale displacement continues. Families are fleeing the safety of their homes to avoid war with little or nothing to survive on, urgently in need of emergency aid.
ReliefAid is delivering life-saving aid in Lebanon.
As we have done in Gaza, Ukraine, Syria, and Afghanistan, ReliefAid continues to distribute aid where it's needed most. Using our existing networks in the region, we have mobilised a team inside Lebanon to deliver emergency life-saving aid directly to affected families.
We held back from asking for your support until we knew we could get aid safely into Lebanon. Now, we need your help to reach families losing everything.
Big or small, your support can make a difference. Please join us in supporting the families in Lebanon fleeing danger and share our message of hope with your friends, family and colleagues.
Together, we can make a difference.
ReliefAid helps families who are caught in the crossfire of war and have no one else to turn to.
We work directly on the ground where others are unable or unwilling to go in conflict-affected countries, providing life-saving aid.
All donations will directly deliver life-saving emergency aid, such as blankets, food packages and hygiene kits, to families in Lebanon.
Thank you for your support! 10 February 2025
Thanks to your humanity, 150 families in Lebanon have received essential food packages - providing vital nutrients to those who need it most.
Among them is a mother who fled when fighting broke out, seeking safety in a school-turned-shelter. “Life was different there,” she said. “Not everything was available.” When a ceasefire was declared, she returned home to find shattered windows, torn doors, and destruction. With no choice but to stay, she covered broken windows with plastic sheets, trying to rebuild. “The food rations help us with basics like oil, salt, and sugar until life returns to normal. Thank you”
Your support has also reached families in Bekaa Valley hosting displaced relatives. One woman welcomed 24 family members into her tiny two-room home after their neighbourhood was bombed. “They had nowhere else to go. In times like these, we must stand by each other.” Her stockpile of food ran low, and with no work or income during the war, feeding everyone became overwhelming. “The food aid helped ease the burden a little,” she said. “It meant I could focus on keeping my family safe.”
Your donations are making an incredible difference. For displaced families, they provide relief as they return to damaged homes. For host families, they bring much-needed support in difficult times.
Thank you for standing with them. Your kindness is bringing relief and hope when it's needed most!
