Rescue Centre Roof Replacement

We have struggled for years with rain coming into the shelter and affecting bedding, litter trays etc due to the multiple extensions we have made over the years creating multiple different roof heights.

All of the original plastic roofing is also disintegrating and every storm has us worried it will finally give way!

We have had a builder come out and assess our shelter and has recommended that we replace the entire roofing (not including our recent extension with the darker roofing seen in photos) making it all one level.

This involves building the new roofing on top of what we have first, then dismantling the inner roofing after. As we have a full shelter, and we cannot move the cats to do this, we have to do it around them without risking anyone escaping!

We are hoping to have this done as soon as possible before winter hits, to make our shelter better for our residents, and our volunteers, and not having to worry about what the weather is doing!
