Run for HELP: Round the Bays 2019

Every year Wellington HELP supports over 800 people of all genders, ethnicities and sexualities to survive and recover from the impacts of sexual abuse and assault.

On Feb 17 2019, we'll walk and run Round the Bays as a fundraiser for HELP. We are doing this because we recognise that sexual violence is unacceptable - and that this problem will only be addressed if we ALL take action.

You can support us either by joining our Run for HELP team - or donating.

HELP is only partially funded by government. In the last financial year they had to raise over $240,000 to keep the doors from closing on this vital service.

Want to join our Run for HELP team? Here's how.

1. Visit the Round the Bays website, wellingtonroundthebays.co.nz and click on the 2019 event.

2. Select the run/walk of your choice and your entry level

3. Select "Join a team"

4. Search for our team name "Run for HELP"

5. Enter your individual details into the form and pay for your entry.

Once you've registered, HELP will be in touch to let you know what to do next – how to fundraise, what to share on Facebook, how to get people involved.

#wetoo will be our hashtag.

Everyone knows someone who has been affected by sexual violence. That’s why we’re saying, it’s not #metoo, it’s #wetoo. We must stand alongside each other as we work to end sexual violence.
