Forsyth Barr team is lacing up for the FreshChoice City2Surf, fundraising for The Gut Foundation in memory of Jade Kenney-Blackman.
Christchurch, Canterbury
This March, the Forsyth Barr Christchurch team is lacing up for the FreshChoice City2Surf (Sunday 15 March 2026) and fundraising for The Gut Foundation in memory of their much-loved colleague, Jade, who died far too young from bowel cancer.
We’re incredibly honoured to be the charity they run for each year. This isn’t “just a fun run”, it’s an act of remembrance and a commitment to changing outcomes for other families.
Your donation helps The Gut Foundation drive better outcomes through education and research support. The Gut Foundation deliver awareness and education so people recognise symptoms sooner, feel confident to talk to their GP and get help earlier.
To the Forsyth Barr Christchurch runners and supporters: thank you. Your mahi means the world to us and to everyone who’s been affected by bowel cancer.
If you can, please donate and share. Every dollar helps turn Jade’s legacy into impact.
The Gut Foundation leads gut health awareness and research in NZ. With nearly $2M funded and thousands educated, we're driving change to improve gut health and tackle NZ's alarming gut disease statistics. Join us in creating a healthier future #Giveash*t!
Every dollar raised helps us drive prevention through education, push for earlier detection and support research that improves outcomes for Kiwis.
