The Christmas season will soon be upon us, and we're on the hunt for a few good Santas. No, you don't have to dress in a funny red suit. You just need to want to help families in need with a special Christmas food box. No reindeer required.
Kairos is proud to be partnering with Christmas Box again this year to help make Christmas a little more special for struggling families. Through the magic of Christmas (and some awesome sponsors), every $40 donated to Christmas Box becomes a $70 Christmas food parcel.
Kairos has committed $1,500 to help this organisation with their annual support drive. Help us to help them!
1. Donate what you can. (Each Christmas Box costs $40)
2. Christmas Box sponsors will increase the value of each $40 box to $70 worth of food.
3. Christmas Box volunteers will package the food into parcels.
4. Parcels are then distributed to communities through partnerships with organisations like Kairos.
Spread some joy around this Christmas. You too could be the big guy in red for families who are struggling this holiday season.
About us
Kairos rescues food from supermarkets, cafes, farms and restaurants, and distributes it to food banks, community groups, and churches across Christchurch, ensuring it reaches the people who need it the most.
Use of funds
Not only will 100% of your donation will go toward food for families in need, it will be multiplied through sponsorship donations.
