Saving the past, one film at a time.
Helensville, Auckland
We're on a mission to transfer as much local film footage as we can find to a digital format so that it is saved for the future.
Imagine watching your grandfather walking down the street in Helensville's VJ Day parade as a young man, having a "pillow" fight on a slippery pole 60 years ago, or throwing lollies out in a lolly scramble.
Your donation can help us transfer such videos into files that can be read by any computer before time turns them into unreadable vinegarised matter. Time is running out - every little bit will help!
