This initiative is to provide life changing experiences to the disadvantage indigenous children.
Nationwide
The Hawaiki project is social initiative aimed at connecting indigenous tribes along the Polynesian migration pathway from Taiwan to Aotearoa by providing enriching overseas cultural exchanges.
The reality is that many indigenous children are living in financial hardship which can limit their educational opportunities. Overseas cultural exchanges are not a reality for many tribal families to afford to send their children on. The Hawaiki project provides full sponsorship toc
The special meaning behind this initiative is to bring long lasting connections to other indigenous groups, broaden their horizons and strengthen their own indigenous identity in an environment where it is celebrated.
This year the Hawaiki Project is sending a group of indigenous Taiwanese children from the Harawan village to Aotearoa New Zealand. Please support these special children to achieve their goal of travelling overseas and experiencing something they will never forget.
Partner with SKIP, it's not OK campaign to provide information and resources for the communities that are relevant to the parents regarding to family harm prevention.
