Help us raise $1,862.32 to register 24 WAGS rescue dogs with Auckland Council and keep them safe while they await adoption.
Kumeu, Auckland
Just days ago, our incredible community helped us reach our Auckland Council resource consent application goal. We are forever grateful to every person who donated, shared our story and stood beside WAGS Rescue New Zealand.
Because of you, we took the next step towards securing our future.
Now we need your help again.
As part of Auckland Council's requirements, every rescue dog aged three months and older must be registered while they remain in our care.
We asked if we could be given more time after raising the resource consent fees, but unfortunately our request was declined.
Today we have 31 rescue dogs needing registration.
The founders of WAGS will personally cover the registrations for 7 dogs.
That leaves 24 rescue dogs we need your help to register.
The total we need to raise is $1,862.32, which works out to just $78 per dog.
Registration might sound like paperwork, but to us it's another promise we make to every dog we rescue. It means they remain safe, compliant and protected while they wait for the loving families they deserve.
If 24 people each donated $78, we'd reach our goal. If you can't give $78, that's absolutely okay. Every dollar brings us closer, and every donation helps us keep the promise we made when we rescued these beautiful dogs:
"You're safe now."
Thank you for continuing to stand beside WAGS and the dogs who need us most.

Funds will register 24 rescue dogs with Auckland Council ($1,862.32). If we exceed our target, additional funds will go directly towards veterinary care and welfare costs for the rescue dogs in WAGS' care.
