Our incredible WAGS community has already helped us through some huge hurdles on our journey to secure resource consent for WAGS HQ.

You helped us fund the acoustic assessment, pay our professional planning costs and raise the $4,500 Auckland Council processing deposit. Because of you, our application was lodged and the assessment has continued.

Today, 22 September, another Council invoice arrived.

The $4,500 we paid was a processing deposit, not the total cost. Council processing charges have now reached $5,800.75, leaving WAGS with another $1,300.75 to find.

But importantly, Council has advised this is not the final invoice. Our application is still being processed and further costs may follow.

Rather than create another fundraiser every time a new Council cost arrives, we're keeping this page ongoing to help WAGS meet the remaining costs of completing our resource consent journey. Any funds above what we need will go directly into the care of the rescue dogs, food, vet appointments, registration.

We don't know what the final total will be, so we won't pretend that we do. We will keep this page updated as costs arise so our supporters can see exactly where their donations are going.
