Support us to build resilience and equip our taiohi to thrive through adventure and walking alongside them.

$9,850 of $40,000 goal
Given by 18 generous donors in 13 weeks

Help provide adventure programs to build resilience and equip our taiohi to thrive. Funding has been tough this year and we need support.

Waikato, Thames-Coromandel District

A student writes as they reflect on our Manahau program, "I can’t tell you enough how much impact you have had on my life, I now am not afraid to take risks, be myself, but most importantly I have confidence now. Thank you for everything, you helped me overcome some of my fears"

Our Manahau programs Res-Kids and Thrive have been equipping young people to thrive in the Thames/Hauraki region since 2016. We work with almost every primary school in Thames and Paeroa. Join us to help keep this amazing mahi going.

Our youth work covers three areas:

o Manahau: Seeking to see our Taiohi (young people)Thrive. We use adventure experiences to teach young people how to deal with the hard thoughts and learn the value of self and others.

o 24-7 YouthWork: Walking alongside high school students in a presence based approach. We are available to support and respond to individual needs instead of a one size fits all program.

o Community Support: We provide information and support to whanau and run professional development sessions for school staff.

Feedback from the community include:

“I have seen other programs of a similar nature. But the way your team does it is amazing. You link activities to learning so well and we really value having you in our school.” Te Puru School teacher

"His confidence in himself has grown and Res-Kids made him so happy. We wish it was a part of the permanent school program" Parent from Res-Kids

We have a $40,000 deficit this year due to a tougher financial climate.
