Tyson's dental care

$1,751 of $2,000 goal
Given by 46 generous donors in 22 days

Tyson has been returned to us and requires dental care before being able to be rehomed.

Auckland

Tyson was returned to us by his previous owners due to unforeseen circumstances. While receiving his routine vet check it was identified that he needs a teeth clean and removal of possibly multiple rotting teeth. The estimate for this work is between $1000 - $2000.

Tyson is a sweet boy and would love to get his teeth sorted so that he can begin having meet and greets with potential new families. He's 8 years old and is a large guy at 42kg but he's hoping that there's someone out there for him. We're incredibly grateful for any support we receive for Tyson.

About us

GAP is a national charity that finds forever homes for Greyhounds leaving the racing industry.

Use of funds

Any donations will be used towards Tyson's dental care and getting him ready for his new home. If there are any funds left over they will be used towards the rehoming of the other retired greyhound in our care.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
