Fundraising for Lifeline Aotearoa
Hamilton, Waikato
Starting 28th July 2025, I’ll be running 5km every day for 5 months — that’s 750km total — to raise funds for Lifeline Aotearoa, an essential service that supports New Zealanders facing emotional crisis or distress.
Every day, Lifeline answers hundreds of calls from people who may have nowhere else to turn. The work they do is literally life-saving — and relies heavily on public support.
This challenge is something I’m extremely passionate about. It’s more than just running — it’s about bringing people together, starting conversations, and encouraging others to step outside their comfort zones for something bigger than themselves.
💬 I'm running this distance to represent the long and often invisible road many people walk with mental health struggles. I want to be a small part of helping Lifeline continue to be there when someone finally reaches out.
This is one of three charity pages I’ve created — alongside pages for Progress to Health and MATES in Construction — as part of a wider fundraiser to support mental health across Aotearoa.
💯 All donations on this page go directly to Lifeline NZ. I’ll be sharing regular updates and proof of progress throughout the journey.
This is just the beginning — a first step in what I hope becomes a long-term mission to raise awareness, spark change, and walk alongside those who feel alone in their darkest moments.
