Milton and Davo's Charity Swim

Kia ora whanau, On February the 17th Davo(Matt Davidson) and myself will be embarking on two respectively hefty swims in the Blue Lake otherwise known as Tikitapu just out of Rotorua. Davo will be tackling the 1km-"Step it up" voyage and I have foolishly signed up for the 3.5km-"I'm going long" orbit of the lake. This will be a mammoth task for a malnourished door to door salesman like myself who thinks beers and cigarettes go together like blue vein cheese, pickled walnuts, and a slither of pear on a signature range rosemary wheaten cracker and for Matt-A former open side Flanker who is infamous for "flopping on the ball" and his love for beers, Burger King and Mama Hooch. We want to start 2018 with a bang, see some more of our beautiful backyard, fundraise some money for some great causes, that are very close to us and get the endorphins coursing through our veins. Our goal is to fundraise $3000 all up so pick a cause that resonates with you and please give what you can; $1, $5, $20, $100 even. Every dollar counts. If we can crack the $3000 mark I will do my swim in a Borat Mankini and will post photo evidence immediately after crossing the finish line.
