Nationwide

Like many people around the world, I am shocked by the violence towards women in Darfur and the ongoing suffering in Rwanda. Help keep women safe from rape, beatings and death by funding a fuel-efficient stove.

Help victims of genocide in Darfur & Rwanda by supporting me on my North Island mission. Your donation will help fund fuel-efficient cooking stoves to improve the every day lives of African families.

Mission accomplishedc  23 February 2010

Hi everyone, What an incredible week! Another 770ks under the belt and the Wellington to Auckland Cycle Challenge conquered. It was an amazing journey, with some colourful characters, ridiculously huge hills, wicked descents, lonely roads, roadworks, sheep, cow dungcthe best of rural NZ. The 7 days of cycling were broken up into 13 stages so I found it tough at first having to sit around for a few hours in the middle of the day, then having to find another 40 ? 60 odd ks in the heat of the afternoon. Thanks to Gareth (support crew) and Clinton (Mangawhai Riders) for their awesome support! And thanks to you ? a few old school/uni friends, the kind people at Sport Northland and KPMG Hamilton, we raised more than our target $300 (including offline donations). If youfre interested to find out more about the Stoves for Africa project ? check out our website http://www.stovesfordarfur.org.nz"" www.stovesfordarfur.org.nz A site we regularly check is http://www.savedarfur.org""www.savedarfur.org?and here is a recent blog http://blogfordarfur.org/archives/3000"">http://blogfordarfur.org/archives/3000 Cheers Ren
