S.O.S URGENT FUNDING NEEDED

Neuroendocrine tumors are neoplasms that arise from cells of the endocrine and nervous systems. it is a rare genetic disease Many are benign, while some are malignant a that can be fatal.

Why so deadly? Well, due to the host's ability to hide itself, in most cases it is impossible to rid coresponding tumors. Modern technology simply cannot keep up...Although some small advances have been made towards victory, without the aid of volunteers for trials and as many patients on the different treatments as possible there is no hope, and the battle is over, we all are dead!

Any treatments have only been found with the help of countless volunteers working tirelessly side by side with doctors, scientists and other medical physician's who specialiseon individual diseases, and of course the patients.

Due to the rareness of neuroendocrine cancer we cannot afford to let even one patient miss a treatment as they become available. Especially due to the rareness of this type of cancer, it is therefore paramount for us all to get him to these treatments urgently.

Andrew McCallum needs our help to get him treatment.

I believe that a chance, no matter how small, is a chance to live; the alternative is do nothing and you have no chance at all.

However Andrew has been given two alternative treatment options, both in Australia.

One treats the whole lymphatic system, and takes a holistic approach to the healing; and the other is the more invasive radiation injections straight into the tumors. The recommendation is the more invasive approach cost $50k for treatment alone, plus travel, living expenses, and living costs estimated at around $5/$6k, the $5/6k will allow Andrew to take a support person with him throughout treatment. His partner Stacey has been by Andrews side the whole way through and needs to be there as support for him. So we are aiming to raise at least $56k in total.
