Information for Active Investor Plus Growth category applicants and advisers.
New Zealand’s updated Active Investor Plus visa settings now include the ability for applicants under the Growth category to make qualifying charitable donations as part of their investment commitment to New Zealand.
Givealittle can support applicants and advisers through this process via a bespoke charitable giving administration service. This may allow applicants to make qualifying charitable donations to Givealittle for onward distribution to registered New Zealand charities over time, rather than requiring all recipient charities to be selected immediately.
Givealittle has operated since 2008 and forms part of New Zealand’s charitable infrastructure, supporting communities, charities, schools and causes across the country. We are a registered New Zealand charity and a Tier 3 reporting entity with established moderation, payment, compliance and distribution systems already in place.
Givealittle can provide a structured administration service for applicants wishing to make charitable donations under the Active Investor Plus Growth category settings.
Potential features of this service include:
A distribution fee of 2.5% is charged to recipient organisations when funds are distributed.
Importantly, all donations are treated as irrevocable and non-refundable.
The Active Investor Plus changes are new and operational guidance is still emerging. Givealittle does not provide immigration, legal or tax advice.
