Free Services Local Emergency Other

Wellington Free Ambulance is the only emergency ambulance service in Greater Wellington and Wairarapa, and the only ones in the country who are free.

We look after 1 in 10 of our friends and family every year, and go to around 140 emergencies every day.

We’re the ones who are here to help us when we are sick, injured and very scared.

We have to raise money to make up the difference between what they get from government funding, and what it costs to run the service.

Donations go towards new ambulances, life-saving equipment, advanced clinical training and research, and much, much more.
