We connect young people in our regions living with cancer, providing them with opportunities for leadership, fun and friendship. CanTeen aims to provide a sense of normalcy and enjoyment to what can be a very tumultuous time. Locally, we run three weekend camps per year, monthly meetings, activities and Committee meetings in addtion to hospital support.
For over 21-years CanTeen has supported young people through the toughest times of their lives. CanTeen is an advocate for all young people with the aim of having better outcomes for cancer patients and siblings. CanTeen Canterbury / West Coast Branch is an essential part of the community supporting over 150 members.
We connect young people (13-24 years) in our region living with cancer, providing them with opportunities for leadership, fun and friendship. CanTeen aims to provide a sense of normalcy and enjoyment to what can be a very tumultuous time. Whether it be one to youth worker support, counselling, connecting with other young people who understand or just having some much needed time out, we can help.
