Please Help Us Reach Our Goal This Baby Loss Awareness Month

October is Baby Loss Awareness Month, a time where we remember, honour, and support families who have experienced the unimaginable loss of a baby. For almost 18 years, at Baby Loss NZ, we walk alongside grieving families, creating tangible memories, providing care boxes, and offering compassion at a time when it is needed most.

This month, we are asking our community to help us raise $37,700 to keep our services running and reach more families in need.

Here’s where the funds are needed:

$3,000 – to place an urgent order for our cherished panda bears that go into every care box.

$3,500 – to cover upcoming accountant and auditor fees, ensuring we remain transparent and accountable.

$1,000 – for essential printing costs to keep our resources available for families.

The purchase of our second car – we were blessed to receive one vehicle donated in memory of Jayden and Justin. The Lion Foundation has generously awarded us $8,000 towards the second car, but we need to raise the remaining funds to make this possible or we will need to pay that $8,000 back.

Alongside this page, we have our six Facebook fundraisers during Baby Loss Awareness Month — and thanks to early support, we’ve already raised $875 before the month has even begun. The money raised from these 6 fundraisers will all be added to our goal total and updated regularly through the month on our page.
