At RDA we provide interaction with horses to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for people experiencing disability, or who have specific challenges or need. Our eight horses are our greatest expense and biggest asset.

About us

Totara Park Riding for the Disabled Association [TPRDA] formerly Whitford RDA was established in 1977 & is affiliated to NZ Riding for the Disabled. At RDA we provide interaction with horses to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for people experiencing disability, or who have specific challenges or needs.

We aim to enable and support them to achieve good lives including meaningful participation in, and contribution to, important life activities and roles in their community.

Our Vision is to Reach More Riders, Change More Lives

We deliver safe and effective goal based programmes to benefit riders with a variety of needs in line with our Core Purpose.

Use of funds

Funds raised will go towards the cost of feed for our horses in 2024.
