Donate to help us provide life changing horse riding opportunities for the disabled

Totara Park, Auckland

We need your support. Lockdown closed our gates to riders and stopped much of our income source. Our nine horses that provide therapeutic riding still need feeding and to be kept fit and well. Our operating costs remain the same all year round. The small fee charged for a 1 hour riding session contributes greatly towards our overall operating costs. Our planned public fundraising events can't happen due to Covid so this online page is our 2021 main appeal. Please Help us Reach more riders - Change more lives.

About us

Totara Park Riding for the Disabled Association [TPRDA] formerly Whitford RDA was established in 1977 & is affiliated to NZ Riding for the Disabled. At RDA we provide interaction with horses to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for people experiencing disability, or who have specific challenges or needs.

We aim to enable and support them to achieve good lives including meaningful participation in, and contribution to, important life activities and roles in their community.

Our Vision is to Reach More Riders, Change More Lives

We deliver safe and effective goal based programmes to benefit riders with a variety of needs in line with our Core Purpose.

Use of funds

This money will make up our loss of income charged to riders . Our greatest expense are our nine horses and they must be kept fed, fit and well all the time to be ready for working
