Our horses provide riding therapy for disabled people. They are our greatest asset and biggest expense. Please donate for their feed.

We are one of the 54 Riding for the Disabled Groups in New Zealand, based at Totara Park, Manukau. We provide interaction with horses to develop increased ability, independence and self worth for children and adults with physical, intellectual, emotional and social challenges.
Our greatest expense are our nine horses - our main assets! Without them there would be no riding therapy for people with disabilities in our community. It costs at least $8000 each year to look after the health and welfare of one RDA horse. As our riders only pay a very small fee per ride, we are left with a significant short fall every week.
Totara Park Riding for the Disabled receives no government funding , is a non-profit organisation and registered charitable trust.
You can help! Donations will be used for the on going feeding of our horses.
Totara Park RDA [TPRDA] formerly Whitford RDA was established in 1977 & is affiliated to NZ Riding for the Disabled. Riding for the Disabled provides therapeutic interaction with horses for people with disabilities. Totara Park RDA is self funded.
Funds raised will go towards hay, feed and supplements for our nine horses.
Thank you for helping donate towards our feed 25 September 2019
